Jean-Jacques Durand is Founder and Shareholder of the Najeti Group.

He is chairman of the: Board of Directors, Strategic Committee and the Investment Committee of the Najeti Group as well as Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of different Group & Portfolio Companies.

He is Founder & Vice-President of the foundation “Les Maisons de Pierre”, specialized in handicapped people support (France).

In the IE (Instituto de Empresa – Spain), he is a member of the International Advisory board and Sponsor of the Najeti Chair in Entrepreneurship & Family Business.

He holds a BA in ESSEC (France).

Before, Jean-Jacques Durand was an executive and shareholder of ARC International (formerly Verrerie Cristallerie d’Arques, formed over 100 years ago in France), the largest glassware manufacturer in the world.


Managing Director of Najeti Capital in Spain since its creation in 1999 until 2010, working as an Advisor since then.
During these years, Roberto has participated in more than twenty investments and venture capital rounds as well as in innovative and technological companies’ management.

He has also been Member of the Board of Directors of eight portfolio companies in different strategic sectors (biotechnology and health sciences, telecommunications, security and defense, renewable energy).

He’s currently Member of the Board of Directors of the listed-biotech ORYZON GENOMICS and was former member of their Nominating and Compensation Committee.

While being an Executive at Najeti Capital, Roberto also participated in co-investments made in the USA (Semiconductor and renewable energy sectors) with leading investors worldwide.

Roberto has also participated as an Advisor for different technology companies at start-up and expansion stages (​​hardware and software sectors) as well as in their process of internationalization in the USA.

Thibaud Durand has spent 20 years making compatible corporate and executive responsibilities at international level, especially in the field of venture capital, technology and industry.

At a corporate level, he is Founding Partner of Najeti SAS since 1994. He is currently a member of the Family and Heritage Board, Member of the Board of the Foundation “La Maison de Pierre” for people with disabilities, member of the Board and member of the Investment Committee of Najeti US & Najeti France (with 20 subsidiaries mid market).

Since 2012, he is also a Founding Partner of BoardKeeper SL, a consulting firm specialized in corporate governance.

At an executive level, he is Vice President and CEO of Najeti Capital SA since 2000, and he has a strong experience in the Spanish venture capital market, where he has launched 3 new businesses and financed 12 projects (biotechnology, software and services). He has also made two investments in more advanced stages in the US market (renewable energies and microchips). He is currently a member of the Board of two subsidiaries: Palau Pharma and Oryzon Genomics.

Between 1994 and 1999, before launching Najeti in Spain, he was a shareholder and member of the Supervisory Board in addition to Sales Manager for the markets of France, Spain and Italy at Arc International, a world leader company in the manufacture of glass and utensils.

Between 1998 and 2000 he was responsible, consultant and professor of entrepreneurship at Instituto de Empresa, where Najeti sponsored the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Family Business.

At an associative level, he is an active partner of ASCRI, IC-A, NACD, ADEFAM and YPO.

He is married with four children and lives in Madrid.


Head of Accounting and Administration

Javier joined Najeti Group in 2007, working firstly for Blueline Advanced Services, and a year later for Najeti S.L.

Among his responsabilities are accomplishment of the company legal requirements related to both accounting and taxes, quarterly reports creation for Najeti Group, Human Resources management, IT management and ESP administration.

Before joining Najeti Group, Javier was Head of Accounting and IT Manager for SOSA DIAS, a company dedicated to manufacturing and distribution of official and advertising flags.

Javier is a Spanish/German bilingual graduate in Business Administration, specialized in Accountancy and Finance as well as Data Organization and Processing.
